"A Fish Who Longed for Birds"
When I thrust through the water and leap towards the shimmering surface, there's a moment when my body becomes weightless in the air.
The world transforms completely from its azure state.
Though my breathing, skin, and eyes all suffer, I leap again and again, falling each time, just to glimpse that world once more.
In that long instant at the surface, I saw creatures soaring far higher than I could. I admired them. I envied them, and kept leaping time after time, refusing to be outdone.
Yet I never reached them.
I often have such dreams.
In my past life, I must have been a fish or something similar.
Ah, how much it resembles who I am now.

Hiyou
HIYOU Singer-songwriter, track maker, composer/arranger, lyricist, and pianist. Exposed to music since before birth while in the womb of their mother, a piano instructor. After graduating from Toho College of Music, began solo activities in 2022, releasing various works including the single ''Hotaru no Yakusoku (Firefly's Promise)''. First album ''Hikou-shou (Flying Chapter)'' scheduled for release on December 3rd, 2024. Creates magical music combining freely expressive piano with clear, azure vocals. Handles everything from lyrics, composition, and arranging to production, mixing, and mastering, infusing songs with playful elements through refined sensibilities. Currently nurturing their home studio sanctuary while preparing for their second solo concert ''Hyu~ Hyu~'' scheduled for February 2nd, 2025.
