Swing at Twilight is a mid tempo city pop track that portrays the hesitation of two swings swaying in a dusk lit park, where naming the next day would mean becoming the one who steps in.
The Inokashira pond turning copper, cold chains gripped in both hands, a swing seat creaking beside her, two long shadows stretching across the sand, and a swing brought to rest by the drag of a toe create a quiet autumn scene where every arc forward and back becomes a question left unanswered.

Performed by the fictional AI singer Akemi, the song captures the emotions of adulthood that knows how a vague promise of some other time would force her to become the one who steps in, yet chooses neither to cling nor to blame, stopping her own arc with the tip of a foot and deciding the distance for herself.
Inspired by the late 1970s to early 1980s Japanese new music and city pop, the track reimagines that era urban lyricism through images of a park at dusk, the creak of a swing, and the distance of a relationship with no name.

For a single weightless instant at the top of the arc she comes close to the words, only to fall silent again on the way down toward the ground. Drawing no more high arcs, she drags her toe through the sand near the earth and stops the swing by her own will, leaving the question of the next day unspoken in the fading dusk.
