"Sandii's Hawai'i 5th" is a collection of 21 classic and standard songs of Hawaii that have long been familiar to the Hawaiian people. Sandii, a beautiful evangelist of Hawaiian culture, sings these heartwarming songs that truly embody Hawaii with all her heart.

Sandii is accompanied by an all-star cast of local musicians, including Yuki Alani Yamauchi, a leading expert in Hawaiian music who has supported Sandii's Hawaiian music productions for many years.

Artist Profile

  • Sandii

    Sandii lived in Hawaii during her late teens and most of her 20s. In that period, she sang in clubs and studied hula with Aunty Bella Richards of Kailua. She also met and bonded with Pattye Kealohalani Wright, who later became a Kumu Hula through Aunty Lani Kalama (1990). Sandii has the various, many different musical phases of her recording career. She has recorded as Sandi Ai, Sandy Hohn, Sandii & the Sunsetz, and now as Sandii. Since 1996, her albums have been Hawaiian or Polynesian-theme.
