Japanese Music to the World! YUZU is a singer / songwriter who travels the world with her instrument shamisen, Japanese traditional guitar. This song "Frogs," (or "Kaeru" in Japanese) is a remix of a song released in 2014 as a piano piece into a Japanese-style rock song with a heavy band sound. The arrangement is by Akira Sakai, a highly acclaimed game music composer and keyboardist. Koto (Japanese stringed instrument) player Murasaki Keron was also invited as a guest. YUZU's musical concept is a fusion of tradition and pop culture. She has performed at many anime conventions for young people overseas, combining original pop music incorporating shamisen sounds with traditional folk songs. She has been based in New York, U.S since 2022, and after 2024 she is expanding her activities to Europe and the African region.
