This work is, of course, produced by member BEAT Bugyo, but the sound clearly sets itself apart from their previous releases. While built on an indescribable and completely original beat, the sonic image powerfully brings out the concept embedded in the title "MAKE or BREAK," resulting in a track where the unmistakable ICE BAHN style explodes in full force.

The music video delivers content that defies expectations in a positive way. Direction was handled by Daiky as TOSATSUMA, who has been filming the hip hop scene since 2009 under the name TOSATSUMA FILMS. The video captures not only the musical identity of ICE BAHN but also aspects of the group that have rarely been highlighted before, translating them into visual form and presenting the intensity of "MAKE or BREAK" in a striking and compelling way.

Artist Profile

  • ICE BAHN

ICE BAHN is a Hip Hop crew from Kanagawa, Japan, consisting of three MCs, Gyokuro, KIT, and FORK, along with beat maker and live DJ BEAT Bugyo. Each member began his career around 1996, and the group was officially formed in 2001. To date, they have released five full-length albums, two mini albums, and one each of a single, 12-inch vinyl, and 7-inch vinyl. Through numerous collaborations with a wide range of artists, they have earned strong acclaim and support from both the overground and underground scenes. Their presence in the MC battle scene has been particularly outstanding, leaving a definitive mark on the history of Japanese MC battles. Their distinctive style continues to inspire many followers and exert a strong influence on the culture today. Beginning with their appearance at B-BOY PARK in 2001, they expanded their national recognition through appearances on TV Asahi's Freestyle Dungeon. Member FORK later became a regular cast member on the show as one of its Monsters. They have also contributed music to major corporate and large-scale projects, including commercial music production for JA Zen-Noh and providing songs for the multimedia project Hypnosis Mic. In 2025, they created the slogan song Yokohama Dasshu for their hometown's professional baseball team, the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. In 2026, they released their sixth full-length album, SURFACE. Even now, ICE BAHN continues to evolve independently within the scene.
