This song was written and composed around 2023 for Little Musical, a production where children create, shape, and perform their own stage work.
It was designed as a debut track for young performers playing the role of pop idols.

Each performer comes from a different background - some still searching for where they belong, sometimes unsure of themselves.
Yet with the support of family, the excitement of performing, and the joy of expressing what they love, they step onto the stage with courage.

The lyrics are written from their perspective, and one line -
"I love who I am in this moment." -
captures the core message: self-acceptance, bravery, and joy.

Musically, the track pays homage to the early 2010s idol-pop style, blended with theatrical elements to create a bright, nostalgic, and uplifting sound.

Artist Profile

takako jennings
Composer, Arranger, Orchestrator, and Keyboardist. Raised in Australia during childhood, I later returned to Japan and majored in composition at university, followed by graduate studies in film music. After completing my graduate degree, I began my professional career as an assistant to Joe Hisaishi. Since then, I have been involved in a wide range of projects, including films, TV dramas, and commercials, gaining extensive experience in high-level productions. As an orchestrator and copyist, I have collaborated with composers across different generations and genres, supporting music production at the forefront of the industry. After dedicating time to raising my children, I have resumed my journey to share my own music with the world. I am currently releasing works that I have cherished over the years, including orchestral-based soundtracks and vocal tracks featuring Synthesizer V. Embracing this era where individual artists can share their music globally, I aim to reach more listeners and connect through my sound. I hope that the music I have nurtured will touch someone's heart and open the door to new worlds.
