Hoshi Wo Iru Kimi No Oto (Your Star-Piercing Sound), the New Best-Of Album by Satochiki

Within every person is a sound that reverberates through the depths of the soul.
To all those who do me the honor of listening to this album,
I hope that it will inspire you to lend your ear to that spiritual sound.

The sound of half-forgotten memories, of passions that stirred the heart.
Believe that those sounds are rays of light that pierce even the stars of the night sky.

The new moon, to which you have gazed upon through tears. The starry skies, to which you have cast your prayers.
I invite you to let your urge to shout coalesce with my erhu, with my melodies,
and to let your star-piercing sound arise from your memory.

Satochiki is an erhuist, singer, and songwriter based in Fukuoka, Japan. His work has also taken him to Taiwan and other locations in Asia.

Disc 1 features vocal songs, including the well-known "Kanata No Kaze" ("The Wind From the Other Side") and "Kasumizakura" ("Misty Cherry") as well as a new song entitled "Tasogare No Kaeru Machi" ("The Road Home in the Twilight"). Disc 2 consists of instrumental tracks including "Raima" ("Lightning Horse") and the newly-recorded "Kanata No Kaze (Niko)" ("The Wind From the Other Side (Erhu)").
