Hidefumi Toki, a treasure of Japanese jazz, has been leading the Japanese jazz scene for half a century. This time, he is working with Kazuhiko Takeda, an active guitarist who is 84 years old. Takeda is a leading figure in the Kansai jazz scene that guitar freak Toki has long wanted to co-star. Supporting are the multi-keyboard player Jun Miyakawa who runs at the forefront of the jazz scene and Shingo Okudaira, a drummer representing Japan.
The blues and ballads played by Toki and Takeda, who have the best blues feeling of the day, are truly exquisite. Enjoy the blissful time created by legends.
