## 1st Album: NO MORE NUKES USE HEMP

The debut album that established the foundation of dUb MaFfia and defined the direction the band would continue to pursue.

Built around the intensity and spontaneity of live performance, the album brings together deep, immersive bass, beautiful melodica melodies, drifting effects, and uncompromising messages. Across its eleven tracks, it moves freely from accessible, melodic dub to unpredictable psychedelic improvisation, capturing the distinctive openness and freedom of the band's sound.

The album took approximately three years to complete. Although it once came close to being finished, the release was postponed because the members were unwilling to compromise on the final result.

While the music evokes images of forests, water, wind, the earth, and the universe, it also confronts the realities of its time: nuclear disaster, black rain, lost homelands, and a distant gaze toward Africa.

The journey begins with the band's theme, "Theme of dUb MaFfia," and continues through the floating atmosphere of "Feel," the swaying 6/8 rhythm of "Black Waltz," the weight of memory carried by "Black Rain," and the beautiful melodies of "Fukushima Mon Amour," a song filled with sorrow and affection for Fukushima.

Moving between instrumentals and vocal tracks, jazz, roots reggae, and psychedelic rock, the album unfolds like one long journey.

Its title carries a clear declaration:

NO MORE NUKES USE HEMP

It expresses both an anti-nuclear stance and a desire to restore harmony between humanity and nature. Yet this is not an album built on slogans alone.

Anger, sorrow, prayer, hope, and the joy of dancing all dissolve together within its deep bass.

This is dUb MaFfia's first statement.
