Inspired by Yoyodai's "Kagamiyama Kokyo no Nishikie" (1782)
Edited by Matsuyama Yonetaro

The play is actually based on the "Kaga Disturbance," a family dispute that occurred in the Kaga domain in the mid-Edo period, and the "bullying of a middle-ranking officer by a lady-in-waiting and a maid's revenge (the "Zori-hit Incident")," which occurred in the inner palace of Matsudaira Suo-no-kami's residence. To avoid censorship, it was set in the Muromachi period. Written by Yoyodai, it premiered in 1782 (Tenmei 2).

The true identity of the famous sword and the pursuit of Akamatsu's heir, "Saburo"
This is the full text of the thrilling interrogation in which Ganbei reveals that the sword he used was a "Go'omaru," and Shuzen completely sees through Ganbei's true identity and demands a confession.
