A poor boy sold candy door-to-door
He earned a few coins — and nothing more
He was hungry. He knocked on one more door
Afraid to ask, afraid to say his need
A young woman opened. He asked for water, nothing more
She brought him a glass of milk instead. A quiet deed
"How much do I owe you?" — "Nothing," she said with a smile
"My mother told me: never take pay for a kindness."
He drank it slowly. He felt strong for a while
He walked away taller, out of the silence
She gave him a glass of milk
He gave her a silent vow
Words are power. Words are light —
And kindness keeps its promise, somehow
Years went by. The woman fell ill one day
The doctors wondered — send her to the city, to the best
A famous doctor came. He stopped. He could not look away
He knew that face. He gave the case his all, no rest
The operation ended. She woke, alive, but worried inside:
The bill would take her house, her all, her everything
An envelope waited. She opened it and cried
"Paid in full — with one glass of milk." — Dr. King
She gave him a glass of milk
He gave her back her morning sky
Words are power. Words are light —
What you send out right away comes home, by and by
One glass. One door. One quiet deed
That was all the world would ever need

Sentanbun - Movement 2: Words Will Fly
KYOKASHO RECORDS
WORD WORLD (Uta-tan) Disc 2 "Grade 8"
An album where every word and grammar point from the junior-high English textbook becomes a lyric. Built around Japan's NEW HORIZON 2 curriculum, with cross-reference tables for other major textbooks on every track page.
All 12 songs continue the story from Disc 1: Kai, his companion Bird, and Mina leave the English-only world behind and set out for a city where many languages are spoken at once. Grade-8 grammar - past tense, past progressive, through to the passive voice - unfolds naturally through their journey.
Track 13, "Sentanbun (Movement 2)," is a bonus track that packs all 485 words of the second-year vocabulary list into a single six-minute song. Across all three grades, the trilogy covers Japan's full 1,486-word junior-high vocabulary in about 19 minutes total.
