Floating high
Breathing air that tastes like free
Clouds are born when
My heart is full
Hold your breath
Strain your ears
Just the pulse of rhythm in the air
Every breath
Every breath feels like it’s borrowed
Lift us up
Where the whispers fade
Above the clouds
Where dreams are made
You are sweet white in the sky
I'm craving for you
With every breath I let it be
Every tears
Every voice are stitched in the air
Fleeting blue
As sky meets clouds
Breathing air that tastes like free

Artist Profile
sphere
Formed in 2007 by guitarist Makoto Gomi, the group took a break after releasing its third album in 2011, but resumed its activities in 2022 with the release of its fourth album after 11 years, featuring Shoko Inoue as a new vocalist. Based on a shoegaze sound filled with guitars that combine delicacy and exuberance, the progressive rhythmic approach and nostalgic piano melodies that evoke Scandinavian electronica are intertwined with a meticulously calculated sound image, and the innocent breathy voice of Shoko is layered to create a lyrical soundscape.
