Inspired by Tsuruya Nanboku IV
Kabuki Play "Ehon Gappo Gatsuji" (Picture Book of the Gappo Crossroads) (1810)

Title: Ehon Gappo Gatsuji: The Spirit Turtle Incense Burner Slaughter Hell

[History and Overview of the Play]
Written by Tsuruya Nanboku IV in 1810.
A masterpiece of "Kizewamono" (realistic domestic plays) that depicts the thorough evil of the protagonist, Saeda Daigaku (Tahiji), and his partner in crime, Sekiguchi Takuro (Gappo).
It is a "Grand Exhibition of Evil" filled with murder, extortion, and betrayal over the family treasure, the "Reiki Kouro" (Spirit Turtle Incense Burner).

[Highlights: The Speed of Evil and The Ennui]
1. The Cold-Blooded Murder:
The scene where Takuro (later Gappo) steals the treasure and slashes the guard Ryosuke without hesitation. A portrayal of evil that breathes as naturally as it kills.
2. "Unzari" Omatsu:
A female villain famous for her catchphrase "Unzari da" (I'm fed up / I'm sick of it). Her lethargic attitude contrasts with her greed, creating a unique character popular among fans.
3. The Math-Funk Horror:
The chaotic mix of Takuro's "Killing Intent" and Omatsu's "Boredom" expressed through a high-speed 190 BPM groove, switching between 7/8 and 5/4 time signatures.
