In the 1970s and 1980s, Saudi Arabian migrants became a social phenomenon in Thailand, and there were many cases of fraud targeting Thai workers. The irony of the tragic situation was that they lost the money they had made to go to Saudi Arabia due to fraud and could not even go to there, so people whispered, "After all, they went to Sa-Udon, not Sa-U (Saudi Arabia)
